I am on a creme-y adventure! That sounded wrong. I love the cremes! I love cremes! Cremes are the best!

Awkward Pet Names by PSC 2018 Edition

I couldn't locate any blogs talking about the 2018 edition of the Awkward Pet Names* series by Pretty Serious Cosmetics. so I had. to go to. YOUTUBE! *groan*

I like the convenience of blogs, you go to an address, and BAM, all the info in front of you, 2D life for the win! Just a little bit of scrolling up and/or down. But with videos... urgh, gotta hunt down the ear phones, gotta use LINEAR TIME to watch the video (life is soooo hard) and gotta pause and rewind and blah to get info.



What do you mean you just turn it on and watch it?



Anyway... so, here we have celebrity nail artist, Kelli Marissa reviewing BOTH Pastel Pet Name* collections by Pretty Serious, she notes the earlier one as being from 2017 which I will continue to insist that it is actually from 2016 because I've got too many pastel pet names things filed under 2016 already and I'm not changing it! AND I file the second pastel edition as being from 2018 which she notes as being from the end of 2017, kinda into 2018... so yeah... either way, there are two sets, one is from an earlier time period than the other.

Considering my general resistance of having to sit through Youtube videos AFTER the effort of hunting for earphones (you try being organised in a shoebox!) to experience the in-fo-may-shon... things could be worse... Kelli Marissa is clear and concise, while going through a good amount of content in a reasonably short duration of time.

Grace-full Cremes of 2018 (and 2017)

Grace-full is an Australian nail polish brand that I've been meaning to try forever but I never seem to have enough funds to get the real stuff. So, I shall be drawing crappy pictures to demonstrate instead.

They currently have a few creme collections available and I WANT THEM ALL... alas, we all know I can't because things cost money and I have no money... so I must resort to... drawing pictures of imaginary polish bottles!

The raspberry being the redder one and the strawberry being the pinker one really confused me while doing my copy paste fun times. In my experience, raspberries tend to have a more pinkish tone and strawberries are usually pretty much red unless they're green yellowish babies. But bleh. Berry colours are berry coloured :)

Clips of Baby Rhinos Galloping for Day 01 of 2019

Why rhinos? ... because they're super cute and they (and all other babies and non-babies) need the world to care more about them. Plus, they're our real life unicorns :D

... when an image goes viral and reverse google image search just sends
you to pinterest and you still have no idea who the original artist is... HALP?

I love maps. I'm also very lazy. I'd group "Oceania" and
"Antarctica" together but Wikipedia doesn't and I am lazy.

Our (ie. belonging to the WORLD) wondrous chubby unicorns are mostly located in Africa and some in the southern parts of Asia, both areas are part of the gigantic Afro-Eur-Asia landmass. Sometimes, I call it the old world because I'm obviously stuck in the 15th century or something. Being of the taxonomic order perissodactyla, that makes them related to horses. Therefore, real life unicorns.

However, today will be focused on the little ones (as in the babies... the adults are actually the larger rhino species of remaining extant species) of Africa. And by Africa, I mean the tiny parts that make up Kenya and South Africa and they're not even close to each other. (Political borders are subject to change because political borders are stupid like that.) And by little ones, I mean only the little ones of the erroneously named white rhino kind.

Obviously, the babies are super cute but they all come from depressingly unfortunate circumstances. They are all orphans, their mothers being victims of poaching. Let's hope that this year, 2019, more protections will be put in place for them. We can't let our real life unicorns go extinct :(
